WELFARE
The welfare of our members is our top priority. Whether you have concerns or need advice, please don’t hesitate to reach out, our welfare team is trained to deal with all welfare or safeguarding concerns. They are here to ensure that everyone feels safe, valued and heard.
The Welfare team is:
Amy Taylor (Welfare Officer)
wscwelfare@outlook.com
Zuzana Gondova (Welfare Officer)
wscwelfare@outlook.com
Both are available to speak to directly either in the pool foyer or stands on Mondays or Fridays. Alternatively you can use the email above and they will respond to you as soon as possible.
Basic Safeguarding Information
NEVER try to deal with a welfare or safeguarding concern yourself. In an emergency, if you feel that a child is in immediate harm or danger, then you MUST consult with the Police in the first instance on either 999 or 101. Do not assume that someone else is dealing with it.
Other appropriate agencies you can contact are:
Children’s Services
Local Authority Adult Safeguarding Team
Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
Local Authority Designated officer (LADO)
NSPCC Child Protection Helpline
